Microsoft Remains the Primary Target for Phishing, Adidas and WhatsApp Enter the Top 10

According to a report by Check Point Research, Microsoft was the most impersonated brand in phishing attacks during the second quarter of 2024, accounting for 57% of all attempts.

Apple climbed to second place (10%), while LinkedIn retained third position (7%). Adidas, WhatsApp, and Instagram reappeared in the top 10.

The technology sector remains the most targeted. Experts advise verifying senders, avoiding suspicious links, and enabling multi-factor authentication.
